During the manufacturing process (extrusion) of Co-Polyester Monofilament Tennis Strings there are over 30 quality checks starting with the raw material through to the final collection of the material onto drums.

String Technology have taken this a step further by checking the Tensile Strength, Elongation at break, Knot Strength and Elongation percentage at given loads during the processing into retail format.

Testing is done at regular intervals during processing plus randomly selecting product for further analysis.

This is a further commitment by String Technology to assure our customers of continued quality and consistency of our strings.

String Technology recently acquired a Single Column “state of the art” testing machine from Lloyd Instruments, one of the market leaders.

With the most up to date computer technology “NEXYGENPlus material test and data analysis software” this allows us to upgrade our previous testing procedures and also be able to do further analysis.

With NEXYGENPlus software, we can simply select from the extensive library of pre-defined test set-ups based on international standards or set up routine tests or create an advanced multi-stage test, with the ability to monitor all aspects of data analysis.
